Vital Savings on Long-Term Care services is not Insurance. It’s a discount card that gives you access to savings through HealthCare Synergies Inc. (HSI), a network of approximately 4,370 long-term care providers including:

You’ll receive discounts of 5 to 30 percent*, helping you stretch your hard-earned dollars. There are no restrictions on participation and no length of stay requirements. Once you join and receive your discount card, you’re ready for instant savings.**
Here’s How It Works
It’s easy to use. Just follow these simple steps to receive care at discounted rates:
  1. Find a participating long-term health care services professional or facility by clicking on Find a Provider
  2. Before receiving services, show the provider your discount card with instructions to contact Vital Savings by Aetna at 1-800-365-5894.
  3. A Vital Savings by Aetna service professional will coordinate with the provider to confirm the discounted rate.
  4. Once you receive or begin receiving service, you will get a bill reflecting the proper discounted rate and/or an explanation of how the discounted rate was calculated.
  5. Pay the discounted rate directly to the provider in accordance with their payment terms and conditions.

Life Assistance Program

Some days it can be tough to manage the competing priorities in our lives, and keep things running smoothly. The Life Assistance Program (LAP) is here for you when everyday issues become a little hard to handle.

When you call LAP, a trained professional will listen and discuss your situation with you. They will also confidentially help you find resources and information on issues including:

  • Personal and Professional Relationships
  • Substance Abuse
  • Family Life
  • Daily Stress
There is no additional charge to you or your family for using the program. However, if you choose to use any referral to additional resources, their charges, if any, would be your responsibility.
