1. As a student, can I get the Pharmacy discount?
Yes. This program is available to students as it is a discount program for individuals and families.

2. Can I get a discount on my Over-The-Counter Medications?
No. Over-The-Counter Medications are NOT eligible to receive a discount under this program. Discounts are only available on medications that require a prescription.

3. What happens if I cannot find my ID card?
You can contact 1-877-My-Vital (1-877-698-4825) for a replacement card.

4. How much savings should I expect with my discount program?
You can expect to save 10-40% off of the average wholesale price for prescription medications.

5. I am taking a maintenance medication, can I get a 90-day supply?
Yes, Aetna Rx Home Delivery, our mail-order provider is available to you for ongoing maintenance medications.

6. How do I know which Pharmacies will accept my card?
You can search for a participating pharmacy in our network using DocFind®, our online provider directory. You can search for a pharmacy by zip code, by pharmacy name, or by the number of miles from your home you want to travel. You may also contact the toll-free Member Services telephone number on your ID card for assistance in locating a participating pharmacy in your area.

7. Is my family (wife, children) eligible for the discounts?
Vital Savings offers discount plans for the individual or the family. As long as you have opted for the family plan, then yes, your wife and dependent children may also take advantage of the discounts offered.

8. Where can I get more information on the services and products offered by Vital Savings?
As you are browsing www.vitalsavings.com, you will find some information related to the Prescription Drug program as well as detailed information related to Vital Savings by Dental and Vision. 9. Do you have on-line tools for drug information?
Yes. You can log on to our public site at www.aetnapharmacy.com to read about various articles related to drug information such as recalls, or to check for any interactions between medications you are prescribed.

10. If my current medical plan includes Pharmacy, can I use this card to get additional discounts?
No, the Vital Savings on Pharmacy program and the pharmacy coverage under your medical plan are separate programs and cannot be used together on the same purchase to obtain additional discounts. You will have to choose to use either the Vital Savings on Pharmacy program or the pharmacy coverage under your medical plan.

11. What do I do if my pharmacy won't take the card (and the pharmacy is listed in DocFind)?
There could be a few reasons why your pharmacy will not take the Vital Savings card. Please ask your pharmacists to call Aetna Member Services to validate their participation in Aetna’s network or you can call directly to get the answers to any additional questions you may have.
